Day 1 : Start from sembalun and camp overnight at the sembalun crater rim.
Day 2 : Begin the summit trek at 02:30 to reach the peak by sunrise (around 06:00). Afterward, explore the lake and hot springs, camp overnight at the senaru crater rim.
I had the best time with this trekking company and especially with Wil as my guide! We were a group of 8 great people and had an amazing time hiking and connecting with each other. Wil was an great guide, always looking after us and being such an great person in general. The hike was though but SO worth it! Would always do it again and definitely recommend Wil as the best trekking guide ever to everyone I know who is in Indonesia. Thanks again Wil, I‘ll definitely come back!!

I did this route on July with a great group of 8 people with Will as guide and it was a fantastic experience, I can really only recommend it! He know very well is job and we got everything we needed and more!
The hike is hard but we got the perfect timing to reach the summit at sunrise and did the right stops during the walk thanks to Will, and the other guys help you a lot with tents and food, hot drink and everything!
You will se unique views really!!
